It's looking like Miers is as qualified to be Justice of the Supreme Court, as Mike Brown was to be head of FEMA. I'm sure she'll do a heckuva job.
But, in the past she's supported equal rights for gays/lesbians. when that gets out, most Repugs will vote against her. I can almost hear Ayatollah Dobson shrieking, now: "Where are her horns and cloven hooves? Where's her pointed tail?? Damnit, I put Bush in the White House, and I demand one of my own on the Supreme Court!!!"
